Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Nexus of Truth, LLC (“Nexus,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the Nexus Author Workbench (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Do not share your account with others; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact info@nexusoftruth.com immediately.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any person or group.
• Use the Service to upload, analyze, or publish content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use.
• Use the Service’s outputs to deceive readers — e.g., presenting analysis findings out of context to misrepresent an article’s trustworthiness, or laundering AI-generated text as Nexus-validated. We say this directly because the Service is designed to earn reader trust; using it to manufacture that appearance violates its purpose.
• Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy the Service or any of its outputs by automated means. Reasonable programmatic access to your own content via documented APIs is permitted.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying model weights of the Service.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service except through a coordinated security disclosure to info@nexusoftruth.com.
• Submit content that contains malware, exploits, or that is intended to disrupt the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of the article text you import and of the analysis output and snippets you generate from it (collectively, “Your Content”). By using the Service you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content as needed to operate the Service for you, including sending it to the third-party processors described in our Privacy Policy (Clerk, AWS Bedrock, Tavily).

We may use aggregate, de-identified metrics derived from Your Content (for example, average analysis duration, error rates, common service combinations) to operate, evaluate, and improve the Service. We will not publish or share Your Content itself, or any output derived from it that identifies you, without your permission, except as required by law.

If you make a Trust Page public, you authorize us to serve that specific page at its public URL until you unpublish or delete it.

The Service uses large language models and third-party web search to produce its analyses, rewrites, and snippets. These outputs may contain errors, omissions, or hallucinations. They are intended as informational support for an author’s editorial judgment, not as a substitute for it. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it or republishing it.

Nexus does not guarantee the factual accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any analysis output, novelty comparison, fact-check result, or generated snippet. In particular, we make no guarantee that an article presented through the Workbench is “true” merely because it has been analyzed.

The Service is provided in active development. Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice. We aim for high availability but do not commit to any specific uptime, response time, or backup schedule. We may perform maintenance that interrupts the Service.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing info@nexusoftruth.com. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, if continued service exposes us to legal risk, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your imported articles, analysis output, and published Trust Pages will be removed from the live Service in line with our Privacy Policy retention rules.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF OUTPUTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL NEXUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR REPUTATION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. NEXUS’S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

You agree to indemnify and hold Nexus of Truth, LLC harmless from any third-party claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
